Ph.D. Study

The Institute of Landscape Ecology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (ILE SAS, v. v. i.) conducts doctoral studies in cooperation with Comenius University in Bratislava, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, and the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.

For the academic year 2026/2027, PhD topics are being opened only in cooperation with Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.

Important Dates:

• By May 31, 2026 – Application deadline
• June 22 – July 3, 2026 – Entrance examinations
• September 2 – 6, 2026 (or as agreed with the respective supervisor) – Commencement of the 1st year of doctoral studies at the ILE SAS training workplace
