S hlbokým smútkom oznamujeme, že v sobotu 16. marca 2013 tragicky zahynul v Nízkych Tatrách náš kolega RNDr. František Kohút, PhD. Na ÚKE SAV nastúpil ako doktorand po ukončení štúdia na Univerzite Konštantína Filozofa v r. 2005. Zaoberal sa najmä geomorfológiou a diaľkovým prieskumom Zeme, pracoval na lokalitách dlhodobého ekologického výskumu. Bol neúnavným terénnym pracovníkom, výborným kolegom a priateľom s optimistickým prístupom k životu.


Česť jeho pamiatke.
